All orders are normaly processed within 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Include any other pertinent information towards the beginning, such as potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of your control.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
For simple flat rate shipping: We offer NOK 89 flat rate shipping with in Norway (excluding Svalbard and Jan Mayen).
Shipping within Norway is handled by Posten.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our store in Waldemar Thranes gate 86 C, 0175 Oslo. After placing your order and selecting pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up. Our in-store pickup hours are Tue-Fri 12.00-17.00 and Sat 12.00-16.00.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Estimated delivery time is from 3-14 days.
International shipping is handled by FedEx.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. STANDARD (BOOKS) is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@standardbooks.no with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. We will reach out to you if this is an issue.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@standardbooks.no with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
